ufo navy sighting

UFO sightings are a dime a dozen these days, and they have been for a while, but back in December the New York Times released the results of an investigation into the US military's monitoring of UFO claims and came up with something totally wild. It was a video released by the Pentagon that shows US Navy pilots tracking the movements of a totally unexplainable aircraft. Now, a local news team from Las Vegas has obtained a military report that offers even more details on the sighting, and the story is somehow becoming even more bizarre than it already was.

The report (PDF here) explains in great details how a US Navy aircraft carrier played a strange game of hide and seek with multiple Anomalous Aerial Vehicles (AAVs) that demonstrated flight characteristics that should be downright impossible to pull off.

Halle Berry, Anjelica Huston, and More Join JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3

halle-berry-anjelica-huston-and-more-join-john-wick-chapter-3-social.jpg

We've got some big casting news for John Wick: Chapter 3! THR is reporting that Halle Berry has joined Keanu Reeves in the film along with Anjelica HustonAsia Kate Dillon (Orange Is the New Black), Mark Dacascos (Hawaii Five-0, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine).

The story picks up after the events of Chapter 2, which sees Wick, a former assassin who tried and failed to live the quiet life, with a $14 million price tag on his head and an army of bounty-hunting killers on his trail. After killing a member of the shadowy international assassin’s guild, the High Table, John Wick is excommunicado, but the world’s most ruthless hitmen and women await his every turn.

There are no details on who exactly Barry will be playing, but her name will be Sofia, and she will not be a villain. Huston will play a character known as The Director, while Dillon is said to be The Adjudicator of the High Table. Dacascos will take on the role of an assassin named Zero, and Mantzoukas as the Tick Tock Man.

Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick are also returning to reprise their previous roles. I so pumped up about this film and I can't wait to see how this all ends for John Wick. It's crazy that this whole journey started out because someone killed his dog.

John Wick: Chapter 3 is being directed by Chad Stahelski and it set to hit theaters May 17, 2019.

It's a date. 5.17.19

I've done that before. More so I could put part of it in the scrap metal bin, and some of it in the to-recycle pile, and throw the plastic bits away, but... No, I didn't just spend an hour dismantling a printer to save $30 at the electronics recycler...

The new AI-powered Google News app is now available on iOS

Google said last week at its I/O developer conference that the revamped, artificial intelligence-powered Google News would be arriving on Apple’s App Store some time in the next seven days. That time is apparently now, as the new Google News has gone live on iOS this afternoon and replaced the old Google Play Newsstand app. You can find the iOS link here. In the event you’re looking for already-live Android version on the Play Store, you can find that here.

The new Google News on iOS is similar to the one you’ll find on Android. It centers around using machine learning to train algorithms to comb through complex, fast-breaking news stories and break them down in easy-to-understand formats like chronological timelines, local news...
